Dreamweaver Stencils-Bare Trees II

I do love this stencil.  Today, I'm hoping to get in on Dreamweaver Stencil's June challenge of "something old, new, borrowed, or blue."  I'm focusing on the old and blue.  The "old" is a page from a 1947 National Geographic magazine.  The paper is shiny and quite thick.  The "blue" the Distress Ink as well as Studio G ink.

I'm a newbie at the photography, but you can see that I inked the stencil and then outlined each opening.

Until another day-

  1. Janine...this is beautiful! I love the outlined effect too...and doing that on a printed paper is genius. Thanks so much for joining the challenge, it's good to get fresh ideas...I would say you also did "NEW".

  2. Thanks, Lynell! I'm going to try to do more card-making challenges; I'm finding that I need to get away from my computer and back to the craft room!
